Well, thanks to many of you, our Yeomen Women's Rugby Team raised a total of $1,635 for MS research, services and friends living with MS in this past weekends Super Cities WALK for MS. There were 5 Yeomen players on the fundraising team!

It was about 2 degrees, wet and windy at the walk but we had a great time walking, chatting and meeting loads of wonderful people out to support the MS Society. The Toronto WALK raised over 675,000 and I am proud to say we were a part of that!

Subway: get off at the St. Clair West station (which for Comolli is on the University line - two stops north of St. George - that's the western line that goes north/south) but be sure to exit onto HEATH Street. Then head left (North on Heath) uphill towards the lights at Spadina. Turn left on Spadina and walk to the next set of lights which is Lonsdale. Turn right on Lonsdale and walk to the stop sign. There will be a church on your left and then across the road another very large very old building - this is BSS. The entire walk is about 700m!

Rugby Canada Positional Skills Handbook

The staff of Rugby Canada’s Development Department and the Rugby Football Union (England) have put together this excellent coaching resource. This manual serves to support teachers, coaches, and young players to focus on the positional and individual skills required to fulfill the fundamental roles in playing the game.

"As coaches and teachers have the responsibility to prepare the strategic and tactical aspects of the game, it is important that players focus on the core skills including the development of their own skills in relation to their position. Strength and conditioning fitness are integral to the success of any player looking to participate in a performance environment."
