Jay not only has two degrees: Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier and Education from the University of Western Ontario, but he also has extensive experience in coaching men’s and women’s rugby of all skill levels and all age groups.

In 1993-1994 Jay began his coaching experience as Head Coach for the Belleville Bulldogs R.F.C. Men’s Under 17 & 19. From there he then became Head Coach of the Girl’s Rugby Program at Southwood Secondary School and then in 1997-1998 the Assistant Coach for Wilfrid Laurier Women’s Rugby. In 2003-2005 Jay coached the Wilmot Men’s R.F.C and in 2006-2007 became Head Coach of the Cambridge Pirates Men’s R.F.C.. In 2007 Jay was the Assistant Coach for the Ontario Under 19 Girls Rugby where they became National Champions!

Presently Jay is the Head Coach for the Glenview Park S.S Girls and is the Rugby Coordinator for their Junior & Senior boys. Jay is presently the Ontario Senior Women’s Assistant Coach, the McMaster Varsity Women’s Rugby Assistant Coach and the Head Coach for us, the Yeomen Women’s R.F.C!
